Babyland Welcome Letter

Dear Babyland Parents:

We would like to welcome your family to Early Challenges! We look forward to working with you and your child. Parents are welcome to visit their child anytime throughout the day because we understand how hard it is to leave an infant in someone else’s care. That is why we are proud to have an open door policy that welcomes parents to be a part of their child’s day!

Please note the following important pieces of information:

  • You should leave SEVERAL changes of clothing in your child’s cubby in case of diaper leaks or spit up.
  • All breast milk must be clearly labeled with the date expressed and the date it was frozen. We can only keep frozen breast milk in our freezer for 3 months.
  • If you bring in your own formula/breast milk, your child must have a one-day supply on site in case you fail to bring your child’s bottles/formula when you drop them off for the day. We must have bottles, dry formula, and/or frozen breast milk.
  • Early Challenges only provides three bottles/meals each day. We use Parent’s Choice Formula, purchased from Walmart. If your child requires more than three bottles per day, you will need to provide additional formula for your child.
  • We will send home daily notes regarding your child’s day. Please check your child’s daily note to see if they need formula/breast milk, diapers, wipes, extra clothes, etc. We will remind you when your child is out of something we need.
  • When your child’s feeding needs change, please request a new meal form to update our information.
  • If your child has diaper cream or lotions, please make sure you pick up a form from your classroom to fill out.
  • If your child has medication, please stop by the front desk and fill out a medication form in order for us to accept or administer any medication.
  • Please make sure that your child’s pacifiers, bottles, and lids are CLEARLY labeled every day. We suggest ordering labels for your bottles and a pacifier clip. A good website for labels is and has personalized pacifier clips. However, if you choose to label them using marker, you will be responsible for keeping them labeled every day.

We look forward to getting to know you and your baby!
